Anyone who works with or is likely to come in contact with asbestos is required to have a level of asbestos awareness training, which employers are required to provide as part of their duties under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Changes to RIDDOR coming April 2012
From 6 April 2012, the reporting requirement for over-three-day injuries to workers will change to over-seven-day injuries. From then, you must report work-related injuries where a worker has been incapacitated for more than seven consecutive days.
