In a nutshell, Safewell’s Health & Safety consultants advise and support employers to meet their legal duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety Order) 2005 and associated legislation thereunder.
There is no such thing as a typical working day for a H&S consultant. One day we might be on a client site (e.g. conducting a site inspection, delivering training or investigating an accident) and on another day we might be reviewing H&S documentation such as policies and risk assessments.
For our retained clients, Safewell aims to provide a decent amount of face-to-face consultancy time over the term of the contract. We are aware that some H&S consultants do a single site audit visit and then never visit site again which can leave clients feeling lost with how to proceed with implementing recommendations arising from the audit. Safewell also prides itself on providing specific, tailored advice and support to you – we do not sell or give clients generic, completed documents as we feel this dilutes the purpose and effectiveness of occupational health and safety which is to manage risk – specifically for you.
We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone – you are the most normal down to earth H&S person we have ever come across and we are delighted with your service.
