It is straight forward training which will allow the assessor to identify persons at risk, examine working practices measured against best practice and provide sensible advice and guidance to users to reduce the risks. Assessor training also encourages the use of management technique to follow up and monitor progress against reported issues. It will allow the assessor to make an informed judgement on whether additional occupational health support is needed.
