FFA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)
Through Nucos unique Mental Health train the trainer course, Safewell is now excited to be able to offer Level 2 First Aid for Mental Health courses to all our new and existing clients.
With mental health conditions on the increase, the importance of understanding and managing mental health challenges in the workplace is increasing. According to recent reports, sick leave due to poor mental health was the primary reason for staff taking time off work in 2021.
Our one-day course provides learners with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to recognise and respond to a range of mental health conditions at work. Giving an in-depth understanding of these conditions and practical tools in managing them, including:
Identifying the triggers of mental health issues
Competence in spotting the signs of low mental health
Confident conversations around mental health
Supporting individuals and directing them to appropriate professional assistance
Managing individuals who are signed-off work and supporting them on their return
Drawing up an effective action plan to encourage positive mental health
Those completing the course will gain an FAA Level 2 Award in First Aid for Mental Health (RQF).
