Asbestos Awareness

Anyone who works with or is exposed to asbestos, or who supervises such employees, is required to have a level of asbestos awareness training. Employers must provide this as part of their duties under the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

This face-to-face training is designed to educate employees on the dangers of asbestos, the effects it has on health, the types, uses and likely occurrences of asbestos in buildings and plant, the procedures to be followed in the event of an emergency and how to avoid risks. It is crucial for anyone who may come into contact with asbestos in their work environment, including construction workers, contractors, building and facility managers, painters, and cleaners.

Asbestos Awareness training reduces the risk of asbestos-related diseases, minimising the risk of asbestos exposure, and helps businesses comply with legal regulations.

If required, we can provide a trainer who is approved by UKATA to deliver their approved asbestos training.

Training takes place in person at customer sites or at our location in Wiltshire.

Shorter online training courses are also available.
