The Clothing Design and Retail Company had recently grown and moved to new premises. They were aware that they needed to establish some health and safety Policies and procedures and carry out health and safety risk assessments but didn’t know where to start. A Fire risk assessment was also needed for the larger premises to comply with the fire safety legislation (Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005.

Safewell carried out health and safety risk assessments for the work activities conducted on site taking into account risks to customers. They provided the client with Health and Safety Manager and Employee manuals setting out the Company’s health and safety policies and procedures and a risk assessment report highlighting any improvements needed to comply with the legislation. A detailed Fire Risk Assessment was conducted of the premises and recommendations provided to the client to ensure good Fire Safety management controls were in place.
