The Estate Management Company wished to ensure the safety and well-being of its pregnant employee; the first they had had in many years. They requested guidance from Safewell in performing the risk assessment.

Safewell visited the employee in the workplace and completed the Pregnancy Risk Assessment. The employee’s hours of work had been fixed – no over-time was to be performed. Guidance was given with manual handling tasks and the use of cleaning solutions were assessed using COSHH Guidelines. The customer felt able to update the Risk Assessment as the pregnancy progressed, confident that they would be able to implement any adjustments as they arose.
