We welcomed more than 30 members of our local community for free life-support training on Friday 20th January when Safewell organised courses in adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillator use.
After working with other businesses at Templars Way Industrial Estate to fund the installation of an outdoor defibrillator cabinet last year, the aim was to spread awareness of how to act in a life support emergency. Delivered by a qualified, experienced instructor, those who came along on the day learnt the critical skills required to act quickly in the event of someone having a cardiac arrest.
Safewell MD, Nick, said: “We originally planned to run one training session in the morning, but interest was so great that we added another in the afternoon. It’s fantastic that so many people are keen to learn these life-saving first-aid skills. We hope to run this again in the near future.”
We would definitely have no hesitation in recommending you to anyone – you are the most normal down to earth H&S person we have ever come across and we are delighted with your service.
