Stress Management Training for a Manufacturing company based in Oxfordshire
Problem to Solve
The Manufacturing Company in Oxford wanted to introduce new Stress Management training courses for their staff. They contacted Safewell to give an interactive presentation and workshop to introduce staff to new techniques in managing mental health in the work place using specific Risk Assessment tools.
Safewell discussed with the company’s HR Team the areas in which staff may experience stress. The company has both production and office based staff. Safewell produced two differing Stress Management training days – one for Production staff and one for Office staff. On both days staff were invited to undertake Stress Management Risk Assessments, learn how to recognise Stress in the workplace, both in themselves and others, and were given tools to use to help minimise and manage their own Stress Management. The result were employees and managers who were more confident in managing stress and recognising their own signs of stress, as well as greater compliance for the company. The main regulation with regard to stress is the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.
