Well, what a year it’s been: the Covid-19 pandemic and the lockdowns that have followed have shaken and turned our view of normal on its head. Restricted from seeing friends and loved ones, Zoom meetings, and working from home, online shopping at an all-time high, and well known and trusted high street brands closing up for the last time. This is just the tip of the iceberg. We have definitely been through the grinder this year.
So I think this Christmas is more important than ever, allowing people to truly reflect on life’s circumstances. To remember friends new and old, loved ones still with us and those sadly departed. So make sure you give your loved ones an extra big cuddle, take a deep breath in moments of stress, and be kind to one another.
A couple of my favourite Winston Churchill quotes are “If you’re going through hell, keep going.” & “Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection.” Both very true.
From myself and all of us at Safewell, we wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Safe Happy New Year.

I am pleased that you are helping dispel some of the dafter myths that surround OH&S (a passion you and I clearly have in common) and the item clearly indicates that as with so many of our professional colleagues you are not about stopping fun on the pretext of H&S. It is only with the help of people such as yourself that we will eventually get the message across that OH&S is about bringing (as you so aptly put it) purpose and value to peoples lives
